The Difference Between Cold Drawn Seamless Steel Pipes And Carbon Steel Seamless Steel Pipes

Cold drawn seamless steel pipe is a type of seamless steel pipe that is cold drawn through a mould at room temperature. It is obtained by annealing hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, with high dimensional accuracy and good surface quality. However, the production efficiency of cold drawn seamless steel pipes is relatively low and the cost is also relatively high.

Carbon steel seamless steel pipe is a seamless steel pipe produced using carbon steel material, mainly used for structural and fluid transportation purposes. The production process of this type of steel pipe is relatively simple and cost-effective, but its surface quality and dimensional accuracy may not be as good as cold drawn seamless steel pipes.

When choosing seamless steel pipes, the type of steel pipe to be used should be determined based on specific needs. Cold drawn seamless steel pipes are suitable for applications that require high dimensional accuracy and surface quality, while carbon steel seamless steel pipes are suitable for applications that require high cost and output.
