45 # hot-rolled seamless steel pipe is known for its higher hardness and is suitable for applications that require stronger hardness. Although its welding requirements are relatively strict, it can meet specific needs through quenching and tempering processing.

Seamless steel pipes for structural use, such as GB/T8162, are mainly used for mechanical processing, with materials including 20 #, 45 #, Q345B, 40Cr, 35CrMo, 45CrMo, etc. Seamless steel pipes for fluids, such as GB/T8163, are designed specifically for transporting fluids and are made of materials such as 20 # and Q345B.
