The production process of low-temperature seamless steel pipes mainly includes the following steps:
1. Smelting: Using smelting equipment such as electric furnaces or converters, deoxidation, slag removal, and alloying treatment are carried out on molten steel to obtain pure molten steel.
2. Rolling: Injecting molten steel into a pipe rolling mill for rolling, gradually reducing the pipe diameter and obtaining the desired wall thickness, while also smoothing the surface of the steel pipe.
3. Cold processing: Cold processing of rolled steel pipes, such as cold drawing or cold rolling, to further improve the accuracy and surface quality of the steel pipes.
4. Heat treatment: High temperature tempering treatment is applied to steel pipes to eliminate residual stresses inside and improve their overall performance.
5. Quality inspection: Conduct strict quality inspections on steel pipes, such as eddy current testing, hydrostatic testing, and X-ray testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of the steel pipes.
Low temperature resistant seamless steel pipe, as a high-precision, high reliability, and high durability steel pipe material, has been widely used in various fields.
