Seamless steel pipe is a type of steel pipe without welds, made by piercing a whole round steel. According to the production method, seamless steel pipes can be divided into hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, cold-rolled seamless steel pipes, cold drawn seamless steel pipes, extruded seamless steel pipes, and top pipes. According to the cross-sectional shape, seamless steel pipes are divided into two types: circular and irregular. Irregular pipes include various complex shapes such as square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, melon seed shaped, star shaped, and winged pipes. The maximum diameter of seamless steel pipes can reach 900mm, and the minimum diameter is 4mm.
Seamless steel pipes can be divided into thick walled seamless steel pipes and thin-walled seamless steel pipes according to their applications. They are mainly used as drilling pipes for petroleum geology, cracking pipes for petrochemicals, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, as well as high-precision structural steel pipes for automobiles, tractors, and aviation.
172-6359-0265 seamless steel pipe is a general-purpose seamless steel pipe rolled from ordinary carbon structural steel, low-alloy structural steel, or alloy structural steel. It has the highest production volume and is mainly used as a pipeline or structural component for transporting fluids.
This seamless steel pipe is widely used in the manufacturing of structural and mechanical parts, such as oil drill rods, automotive transmission shafts, bicycle frames, and steel scaffolding used in construction. Manufacturing circular parts with steel pipes can improve material utilisation, simplify manufacturing processes, and save materials and processing time.
